Sportski Centar 25 Maj Beograd

Today we passed the 25. May Sports-center again and I was very happy to see that they were renewing the windows. For years It looked like they'd let this building fall into disrepair. Maybe there is hope for this beautiful building.
This part of the building is empty since a long time. In another part is a public swimming pool. Two years ago I went for a swim there. It's an amazing place.

Sarah,

Love the pics. My Great Uncle Ran the place for decades. I remember learning how to swim in the indoor pool. Its not nearly as impressive as it was in the late 80's. Things went south after the wars and bombings. My aunt still works there, says, they are slowly getting it back up to par.

It's now a super expensive (and nice) gym upstairs. Not sure about the pool. I never saw it. I'll look around when I go for a work out today :)
